I am oh so in love with Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Ledisi, Jay-Z & Wale. I will buy any of their albums the day they drop and they always stay in heavy rotation. Well guess what?! All but Jay are dropping new albums this year! Talk about excited! Ledisi actually dropped yesterday and of course I downloaded it straight from amazon.com ($5.99) to my new Droid phone and I LOVE it! I listened to it 3 times at work last night and again on the way home this morning.
The July issue of Essence (with Beyonce on the cover) had a small article on the album and they hit the nail on the head!
I am anxiously waiting for Jill to drop later this month and for the concert on August 7th in DC which just so happens to be the Sunday after B's birthday and the Sunday before mine!...and my off day! I think the stars have aligned!
Mary will be dropping in the fall and Wale some time this year too! I'm so freakin excited.
