After work I caught the subway and bus to my grandparents' house because my pop pop had finally finished repairing my oil leak. I was in the edge if my seat the whole time. I got in my car, his name is Cliff, and homeboy felt real weak. The engine didn't have much power, it was ticking loudly and the windows on the drivers side would not roll down. I knew I had one place to go and I HAD to get there with Cliff in one piece.
I finally made it to my destination...Koons Ford of Baltimore!!!!!!!!! I was there to take delivery on my brand new car! This is the first time I've ever purchased a car from a dealership. Long story short, I love my new car! And the dealership gave me $600 for Cliff and said the engine was on it's way out.
After I left the dealership B and I went joy riding.
Saturday-
I woke up to be fussing about something, come to find out the toilet was stopped up and was backing up into the tub! Ugh! I had to sit around and wait on maintenance, which was taking too long so I dipped, I had to go to work. When I got to my desk this cute lil plant greeted me
Now I feel welcomed!
After work & running errands I had a headache and I was beat! We took a nap at 7 and didn't get back out the bed til 8 the next morning! Much needed rest.
Sunday-
Laundry, more errands and the car wash (the birds attacked my new baby), cleaning house, cooking dinner, doing homework, doing my hair...I was beat once again. Oh yeah, and pushing a small SUV about 50ft which I am totally feeling today. Oh yeah, I popped in to see my Gran (whom has Alzheimer's) and she remembered my name!!!!!!!!! I've been telling her my name for about three months and it finally stuck. I was so happy!
So, I got a brand new car (all on my own), a new plant, sore muscles and my Gran remembered me, I think I had a great weekend! How about you?
