The last time I was here I started a post and never finished it, that's how busy I've been. Between school, work, and life I barely have time to sleep.
The new job-
It's cool, had to grow on me. It's pretty simple, I just need to develop a good speed. I still haven't been released to my shift (11P-730A) but hopefully I will next week. Being on day shift has never been so hard for me. Probably because my last supervisor was so lenient. My last job was also thru a temp agency so working the entire 40 hours every single week was kinda optional. I leave early every Tuesday & Thursday for a 2:00 class and I still have to make 40 hours by the time closes out on Saturday and I am totally spent by then. The benefits are great, the parking is way way way less than what I was paying as a temp (and I park in the same garage), and it's a permanent gig so in just adjusting.
School-
It's growing to be a lot. Sone days I don't think I can handle it all. I'm trying my hardest though! I've fallen behind in reading (and we all know that's no good) so I've been trying to utilize my 50 minute lunch break and pull some all nighters. Luckily spring break is next week so I can catch up and get some spring cleaning done.
Life-
I dint have much of a life these days but I'm not upset about it, i know it's for a greater purpose. Sometimes I have to whisper to myself "for a limited time only". B's business is picking up and taking off! I'm so happy for him and proud of him for putting in WORK! I try to help him as much as I can but by the time he pulls out the computer I can barely keeps my eyes open. Speaking of computers, I've been in the market for a new laptop for quite some time. I was really hoping to get a MacBook Pro but I need a car REAL bad and that's down payment money. So last Saturday while flipping thru the channels I came across HSN featuring Gateway laptops. Honey this thing was just what I've been looking for! 15.6", LCD screen, HD webcam, quad core, 4gb ram, 640gb hard drive and much more all for $599.90! I couldn't order fast enough! And it was available on FlexPay; so I kindly took advantage of that. I just can't wait til it comes, it hasn't even shipped yet, what is the hold up?!
I have also become reacquainted with Mark, Tony and Antwan over the past two weeks. That's what we in Baltimore sometimes refer to the MTA or public transportation as. It's been...different. One if my goals fir the new year was to stop complaining so much (and I've been doing much of it lately) so that's all I say about that. However, I have been in contact with a few dealerships and have heard some good things so whisper a little prayer or me. This public transportation is worse than I last remember it. My coat smells like bus!
