Monday I started a 2 day employee orientation. I learned a lot about the company which made me even more excited about working here. Yesterday after orientation I came up to see my supervisor. I was informed I would be working day shift for training and to report at 8 am today to get started.
I punched in at 7:58, my badge didn't work. I came upstairs to the office, neither of my supervisors were in yet. I was directed to my cubicle and told to "chill out" until the director came in to begin training. It's 9:03, I'm still sitting here. I was given some supplies and told to just wait around. I tried to look busy so I cleaned my desk, which was filthy by the way. I was also given a pile of work I have no idea what to do with. So...I'm just chillin...
